Clear Span Temporary Warehouse

The most popular temporary warehouse is a clear span tent. These clear spans may be rented, leased or purchased and come in a variety of sizes. A clear span temporary warehouse can be as small as a few thousand square feet to well over 100,000 square feet.

Since they are modular, almost any width and length is achievable by simply adding or removing tent parts during the “building” phase of the installation.

What Is a Clear Span Temporary Warehouse?

Using a large aluminum and steel frame, we construct a clear span temporary warehouse. This frame is then covered by heavy duty fabric that helps ensure that the warehouse’s contents stay clean and dry. Designed to withstand strong winds, they are weather resistant and meet building codes in all 50 states.

Heavy duty flooring may also be a necessity. We recommend this flooring if the surface under the warehouse is not firm enough to handle any needed heavy equipment. If the site is grass or loose gravel then we recommend a floor. This is so that heavy equipment like forklifts can do their job without getting stuck in mud or rocks. These warehouses can even be equipped with large entry doors for moving heavy equipment and trucks inside of the warehouse. Clearspan Structure Provides Temporary Hangar Tent

American Pavilion was recently contracted to provide a clearspan tent of over 30,000 square feet as a temporary hangar tent. A solar powered airplane, the Solar Impulse, is currently traveling across the United States. It began its flight in California with its final stop in New York. Unfortunately, just before the plane was to land in St. Louis, a tornado damaged the hangar that was to provide temporary cover for the plane.

How We Created A Temporary Hangar Tent

American Pavilion received a last minute call and our team went to work loading the tent frame, cleaning the fabrics and providing the installation crew with a briefing of the installation. Within 72 hours of the initial call, a Losberger clearspan tent was prepared, transported and installed as a temporary hangar tent and the Solar Impulse had a safe and secure temporary home. During the seven day rental the clearspan tent withstood two thunderstorms. American Pavilion clear span tents have the ability to withstand winds of up to 90 miles per hour and are the most weather resistant clear span tents on the rental market.

Customization

The Solar Impulse airplane needed charging each day, so American Pavilion’s crew removed the fabrics each day from one end of the clear span. The plane was then wheeled out to gather the sun’s rays on the solar panels that covered the wings. At night it was pushed back into the protective storage tent and the end fabrics were quickly replaced. After a week in St. Louis, the Solar Impulse took off for its next leg of the flight. The departed aircraft’s final destination was in New York. Due to it’s success, the Solar Impulse has plans for a worldwide flight within the next few years.

Losberger Clearspan Tent Provides Temporary Storage

American Pavilion recently received a last minute phone call from a United States based automobile manufacturer in need of a large Losberger clearspan tent for long term storage. Within three days of the initial phone call, American Pavilion’s crew had loaded, transported and installed a 45,000 square foot clearspan tent for the storage of parts for a large production plant. The requirements as set out by the client were that the tent included: weather resistance, able to withstand wind gusts equivalent to a category 1 hurricane, require little to no maintenance and be available to rent for at least one year. American Pavilion was able to not only meet but to exceed all of our client’s requirements. Our quick response for the clear span tent installation put our project ahead of schedule. The Optimal Option for a Corporate Trade Show Tent

A Blue Sky Solution Soars for this American Pavilion Client

You would think that someone who makes corporate jets wouldn’t have any trouble getting noticed. But when there are hundreds of brand new jets lined up together at an air show, as unlikely as it seems, they can tend to blend together.

Recently, a leading manufacturer of business jets that was determined not to blend into the crowd, called on American Pavilion to make their new models soar in a corporate trade show tent. Specifically, the jet maker wanted to customize a 132′ wide by 282′ long clear span rental tent to serve as a high-profile pavilion to showcase their current and upcoming jet models at a Miami air show.

American Pavilion is always up to a challenge. Our sales/marketing and manufacturing team got together to “blue sky” a solution that would get the client noticed on land and in the sky: giant logos integrated into the roof panels of the big tent. Sharing the vision and our enthusiasm, the client agreed.

How We Created the Perfect Corporate Trade Show Tent

Producing logos more than half the length of a football field would seem like an impossible task. Not for the American Pavilion team. Using industrial, state-of-the-art laser printers, two giant logos more than 165 feet long and 40 feet tall were manufactured for the top of the large tent and incorporated directly onto the roof panels. These panels would serve as the roof of the corporate trade show tent rental.

Surprisingly, that was the easy part. Traditionally, clearspan tents are anchored into the ground using stakes so they remain stationary throughout an event. However, the air show was held at an airport and the client didn’t want to drill into the concrete runway. So the American Pavilion team worked with engineers to determine how much concrete would be required to secure the structure while still meeting stringent U.S. building codes. At the end of the day, we needed 265 tons of concrete blocks trucked in on 13 semi trucks. A crew of ten installers erected and secured the clear span tent–another two semi-loads of equipment.

The final pavilion was breath taking. The roof of the large, brilliant white tent sported logos covering more than 13,000 square feet. The client’s name could be seen from miles away by air and land. The client was so impressed that an agreement was signed naming American Pavilion as the sole provider of its  corporate clear span tent structures for the next three years.
