INDUSTRIAL TENTS – FOR RENT

Industrial tents are used throughout the United States for a variety of uses. They can be rented, leased or purchased for both short-term and long-term needs. Industrial tents to rent are available for as long as needed. You can rent these tents for a week, a month or even years, all with little to no required maintenance.

Industrial tents have many uses and come in a wide variety of sizes. Modular in design, these tents are also known as clear span tents and are manufactured from an aluminum alloy and galvanized steel. The roof, gables and sides of a clear span industrial tent are covered with an extremely strong and versatile outdoor fabric. The frame and fabric combine to make for the most weather resistant industrial tent on the market.

Benefits of Industrial Tents to Rent

Industrial tents to rent range from storage, construction, lunch and break facilities, job site equipment storage, temporary warehousing and much more.

They may also be leased or purchased. Many factors must be taken into account before deciding if a rental or a purchase is better suited to your needs. As a general rule, if the tent is to be used for a year or less then a rental may make the most fiscal sense. Beyond a year, many decisions must be made if considering a purchase. The following should be discussed before a decision is made; cost to purchase, tax depreciation (over a period of years), ability to provide maintenance and ability to market and sell the tent when done with it.

These tents can be installed in almost any size, from a couple thousand square feet to over 100,000 square feet. These tents are completely clear span, meaning there are no internal supports. They range in width from 10′ to over 160′ and can be configured in almost any length. The peak height can vary from less than 20′ to almost 50′, depending on the width of the tent.

Industrial tents to rent are designed to withstand extremely strong wind gusts (often up to 90 mph). Because of this, they are the most weather resistant tents on the rental and sales market. They meet building codes in all 50, states and engineering certificates can be provided if needed.

American Pavilion is a leader in the industrial tent and temporary warehouse business. We travel nationwide installing tents for a myriad of uses. Large or small, far or wide, American Pavilion has the perfect tent for you.

Clear Span Temporary Warehouse

The most popular temporary warehouse is a clear span tent. These clear spans may be rented, leased or purchased and come in a variety of sizes. A clear span temporary warehouse can be as small as a few thousand square feet to well over 100,000 square feet.

Since they are modular, almost any width and length is achievable by simply adding or removing tent parts during the “building” phase of the installation.

What Is a Clear Span Temporary Warehouse?

Using a large aluminum and steel frame, we construct a clear span temporary warehouse. This frame is then covered by heavy duty fabric that helps ensure that the warehouse’s contents stay clean and dry. Designed to withstand strong winds, they are weather resistant and meet building codes in all 50 states.

Heavy duty flooring may also be a necessity. We recommend this flooring if the surface under the warehouse is not firm enough to handle any needed heavy equipment. If the site is grass or loose gravel then we recommend a floor. This is so that heavy equipment like forklifts can do their job without getting stuck in mud or rocks. These warehouses can even be equipped with large entry doors for moving heavy equipment and trucks inside of the warehouse. Personnel doors, lighting, temperature control and power can also be provided. Inside these warehouses is an unobstructed area, devoid of any support poles or cables thus allowing complete access to the entire temporary warehouse.

Installation Processes

No footings, foundations or other site prep are required prior to installation. This for a quick turn-around once a client places an order. American Pavilion owns and inventories many hundreds of thousands of square feet of temporary warehouses. Because of this, we are ready to install them nationwide on short notice. On top of easy installation, American Pavilion has plenty of crews always ready. We assist you in both the installation and removal of your tent. Everything is taken care of for you!

Some typical uses of a clear span temporary warehouse is to store materials during construction, to fix or refurbish on-site equipment. Other popular uses include storing and protecting excess inventory and much, much more.

Few companies in the U.S. are equipped with both a large inventory of temporary warehouses and the crews needed to install them. American Pavilion specializes in this niche and is always ready, day or night, to load and install a temporary warehouse anywhere in the country. www.americanpavilion.com

Clearspan Fabric Structures for Rental or Purchase

Fabric structures are a diverse mix of clear span tents, tensile structures, tension tents and air-supported structures. Clearspan fabric structures are the most popular form of large fabric structures with an active rental and sales market. Clearspan fabric structures are modular and can be configured in an almost unlimited number of sizes. They have no interior support structures of any kind, require no special site preparation and are designed for both short and long term installations.

Rental Clearspan Fabric Structures

Rental structures, especially clearspan fabric structures, are generally accepted as one of the largest and sturdiest of all temporary tent structures. They are provided by a relatively small group of rental companies. These select companies inventory hundreds of thousands of square feet of tents. They traverse the country installing them for special events, corporate events, as construction tents, as warehouse structures, for sporting events and much more. Any time a large, unencumbered space is required for days, weeks or even years, a clear span fabric structure is one of the best options.

Because of their durability, versatility, and ease of use, they are also one of the most popular types of tent rentals on the market today.

Tensile Structure Rentals

Tensile structures are generally permanent structures designed to stay in one place for years or decades. Anyone who has traveled through the Denver Airport has seen one of America’s largest tensile structures. The entire roof is manufactured from a Teflon coated, PTFE-coated, fiberglass membrane. It is permanently tensioned based on specific engineering criteria. These structures are designed to last longer than a traditional roof, but many tension structures do their job with more flair, cost savings and durability than a traditional, utilitarian commercial roof.

Air-Supported Structures

Air-supported structures have been around for decades. They have found a limited market for year round spaces such as golf ranges and sports training facilities. They are usually contain the shape of a dome and positive air pressure inflates them. Although they have many attractive benefits, they are designed for more permanent installations. If you lose your positive air pressure for any reason, your air-supported structure can deflate like a balloon. This air pressure can begin to drop if there are roof problems, or if power goes out.

Tension Tents

These tents are generally designed for shorter term applications (days to weeks). They are also often supported internally by a series of aluminum or steel poles. The fabric supported by these poles is cut and manufactured in a way that allows the fabric to be tensioned continuously. This fabric is the precise amount of tension so that the tent can support itself, even during inclement weather.

These are four types of popular structures to rent. However, because of the many benefits of a clear span fabric structure, they remain the most popular.
